Founded in 2013, Flight Entertainment was formed as an elevated and ever growing affiliate brand for Greater-Philadelphia’s Schaffer Sound Productions Inc, which has been in business since 1977 and continues to thrive through the pandemic showing its resilience during the toughest of times in the entertainment and hospitality industry.

In the aftermath of the global pandemic, Flight attracted world class talent and shifted its focus to producing large-scale outdoor concepts in an effort to help clients and partner venues thrive despite ongoing public health restrictions.

Flight’s goal is to build mutually beneficial relationships by helping our clients maximize their sales while providing a unique entertainment experience.

Jon Schaffer

Owner / Founder

Founder, owner and operator of the tri-state area’s premier entertainment company, Schaffer Sound and owner of Flight Entertainment Group. Jon is a mover and shaker, our lead relationship manager.

Ken Faith

Chief Financial Officer

Experienced Management Professional with a 20+ year record of developing and managing operations, business development, and financial initiatives in both a Fortune 500 and entrepreneurial environment. Ken has worked at such organizations as Price Waterhouse Cooper and JP Morgan. Ken has demonstrated the ability to advance profitability, contain costs, and limit liability by designing and implementing scalable operations infrastructures.

Rob Wright

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS

Owner of Small Talk Media, Rob has been marketing venues and events for over a decade. He brings a vast knowledge of branding, positioning and tactics to our team along with a corporate background structuring communications and small business scalability.

Colby Cohen

Flight on Ice Principal

An NHL alumni and entrepreneur, Colby knows the ice. His playing career included a Stanley Cup and NCAA Championship. Having played and spent time in arenas all over the world, he oversees all rink operations ensuring that our brand is of the finest quality.

Centered around our state of the art outdoor skating rinks, Flight on Ice is our flagship brand bringing family fun to a festive winter environment. Retail markets, food and beverage vendors, instagram experiences, fire pits, igloos and VIP areas are some of the offerings you might see at our Flight on Ice locations.

Some of the biggest names in entertainment have been booked and managed by our team. From 3rd Eye Blind to Stevie B, our Old School Nightlife and Flight Entertainment brands have a niche following, drawing hundreds of thousands of fans to our shows each year.

Programming & Bookings

Venues needing monthly, weekly and sometimes daily entertainment trust Flight to hire the right acts and manage their entertainment calendars. This added value to the customers is a completely seamless experience for the venue owner.

We work behind the scenes with many venues who are just starting out or need help integrating food, beverage and entertainment into their already established business. Our team manages internal operations and hires key employees that make sure the business is profiting on all levels.
